Running with Scissors....

The Scissor-tailed Flycatchers are back in Oklahoma. I have seen them everyday since last Thursday. They are amazing birds.

If you have never seen a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher....You have not lived!

What a girl needs

These are bird feeders. I could totally see the hanging in my house with a non flame tea light. They would be great as a scarf holder or for jewelry.. This is just what every girl needs!

Great Blue Heron

 

Here is a Great Blue Heron flying over Lake Thunderbird, here in Norman Oklahoma.

 

These are some white Great Blue Herons.

 

 

It is always neat seeing these white ones.

Craft show

We are at a craft show today.... It' s kinda slow. But kinda nice to be back after a 3 year break.

First visitor to the grape jelly

I put out grape jelly in anticipation of the Orioles.

Check out who decided to give the jelly a try! 

It is always exciting to see other birds eating the grape jelly.

I have yet to see an Oriole, but I am sure they are on their way.

The Cedar Waxwings are still here

The Purple Martins are back in town...spring is here.

The Cedar Waxwings are gathering for a journey.

 

 

I have heard from a few people that they are seeing the Scissor-tailed Flycatchers.

I guess today's mission will be to find the Flycatchers....We'll see.
