Bobbey strikes again! New card samples using DP Artworks rubber stamps

We received a envelope from Bobbey Sakoman in NC just the other day....I have not even thanked her yet...But oh my goodness....Two of the cutest samples were in there! She used our sunflower stamp "Followers FL 14 F" for the first one and "Spotted wing butterfly NT 45 F" for the second one. She totally rocks samples! She teaches classes and if you ever get a chance to take a class from her, you will not be disappointed!
The sunflowers are stamped on a piece of inked glossy paper. I love working with glossy paper.
The butterfly was stamped, embossed, highlighted with a glitter pen and embellished with studs. (way cool!)
These along with many of her other awesome samples will be in our booth at Stampaway in Cincinnati, Ohio this August.(You didn't think I would go a day without talking about Stampaway....did ya?)

Stampaway 2009....The fun never ended!

Stampaway was a blast!

We started our adventure on Tuesday night at the wine and cheese fund raiser at the store (Stamp Your Art Out! ) , Fun was had by all. There were prizes, wine cheese, fruit and fun! We taught the class on Thursday. It was a card blitz class. Eight cards in 3 hours....everyone seem to enjoy the class. The students were awesome!

Friday night was "wear your art out" night. We had made shirts and wore them. We spent the day setting up. And then, before we knew it, the adventure started at 7:45pm. There was a rush of people, and excitement was in the air. The gentleman they had singing this year was really great! The food they served was good, as well. We were busy, busy, busy! It was non stop until 11pm. Wow what a night! I got to see student and former customers, which is always so much fun. We were back to the convention center bright and early Saturday morning to restock and get ready for the new day. If you have not attended this show....mark your calendars for next year! Thank you to all of you who stopped by. We had such a great time!

Okay, here is a challenge that we are working on. While in KS, at Mrs. O'Leary's, I bought a turn table thingy (as pictured). Our goal is to get it filled with ATC's for Stampaway. With everything everybody is working on....it will be a challenge! In the picture is Max, we went to And Bear Makes 3, in Moore , OK.

New stamps from DP Artworks...get them at Stampaway 2009

We will be posting samples of some new stamps (to be released at Stampaway in August) in the next few days. Everyone is working hard. I am getting help from the wonderful people at B line designs! Beverly totally rocks and she has a sassy new hair cut! She grew her hair out and when she reached 10 inches she had it cut off. She donated the hair to Locks for Love. You should check it out. Their website is www.locksoflove.org. You can get more info there. Also I need to say thanks to Debi and Tressa. They too are working long hour to get us ready for the show.

New card samples!

Here is a quick teaser photo....not of stamps but some work in progress in the studio. It is some copper work (that should be put away and polymer clay needs to be brought out). Stampaway 2009 is only a few short weeks away. If you are going to be in the Cincinnati area you should stop by the show. There are more details at Check back in a few days for new samples I just received from Bobbey. They look great and were published in an on line magazine.
