A Lesser Yellowlegs

Here is a Lesser Yellowleg.

Now for something completely different:

We are working on new rubber stamp samples and should be posting them soon. Our new catalog will be finished early spring. Stores will get our fresh catalog in March/early April. We have a few new tricks up our sleeves...we have been thinking outside the box. We, of course, welcome samples at any time. Monica sent us some great Valentine cards that we will post starting next month. Thank you to everyone for your support this year! You all rock!

T'was the night....with DP Artworks

T'was the night (WH 47 E) is the name of this stamp. Monica Baxter made this sweet Christmas card. She stamped the image in black and either used Copic or Prismacolor markers to add color. I love her use of the plaid and polka dotted papers. She picked a nontraditional palette and did it well. The stamp Season's Greetings is called Wee greetings (WH 49 B). I love what she was able to do with this image. Thanks Monica.

Boys will be boys....cute children rubber stamps

This card was made by Bridgette Yond. She has two adorable girls, and made this for a friend of hers. The DP Artworks stamps she used are; Spencer (MO 40 E), Patrick (MO 46 E), Pup (MO 09 B), and Puppy play (MO 52 C). She used Prismacolor pens to add the color. It is a very cute card.

I was received an e mail yesterday asking how I name the stamps. Sometimes it is easy to name the stamps...and other times it is difficult. The little boy in the green shirt is named Spencer after a student I taught a million years ago. I also have one named after his brother and sister, Alex and Clair. I taught both boys. Their parents were amazing as well. So now you know a little more about how I name the stamps.

The little girl on yesterday’s card is named after my sister-in-law Dion. I will try to start letting you know a little more about the stamps. Thanks for checking out my blog.

October rubber stamp card idea

October card using DP Artworks Stamps

Mary Sue posted this and I re-posted it...

Here is what I have been working on. I used DP Artworks Branch LG rubber stamp. I stamped the branch in black, using a Black Memories pad. I added lines for the web of the spiders. I found some pearl dimensional paint which worked great. The paint has a small pointy end which makes a nice line. Using the paint as an adhesive I stuck the spiders on. Finding some glow-in-the-dark stickers at the store I trimmed the moon and stars and Tah dah...It is done.
I like the way this card turned out. I am sending it on to Deena and the folks at DP Artworks. So soon you will be seeing it on their blog. I can't wait. I am making several of these for the boy's teachers and a few good friends.

More samples with DP Artworks rubber stamps!

Here are some samples I happened upon. I wish I could tell you who made them.
I see Amy Anderson's name on the back of one. She may have made all three.
They are awesome samples. I do have many samples to post and will be doing so soon.
